Established in 2005, Stamford Academy is a small, family-owned and run language school located in the heart of Stamford, a beautiful stone town situated 100 miles north of London. The Academy specialises in the provision of English language courses for students from overseas and the teaching of European languages such as French and Spanish.The school is accredited by the British Council as a provider of quality English language courses. We are also certified by Cambridge ESOL as a preparation centre for their range of English language examinations. The Academy itself is situated on Stamford’s pedestrianised High Street, and has four purpose-built classrooms, each ideal for accommodating groups of up to twelve students - though many of our classes are capped at ten. We strongly believe that small class sizes are essential for students of any subject to fully engage in, and benefit from, the learning experience.Teachers at Stamford Academy are all qualified in their respective fields and each has a minimum of five years’ teaching experience.
